I use FireFTP
http://fireftp.mozdev.org/ to upload files to my websites. It's a plug-in for Firefox and so it' not separate app which you might forget which folder you stored it in, unless you have a shortcut. Very intuitive, pardon me, it's like using Windows Explorer (a, ya, so what else is new with FTP apps) with its point and click and brag and drop. I thought at first that they should already give option to store passwords but on the other hand, we can't be careless with them.
