When news broke out that the 2nd Division of the Comelec under Commissioner Nicodemo Ferrer "declared the term of " Isabela Governor Grace Padaca null and void, it seemed as if the entire Filipino twitterdom broke out in a collective shriek of shock.
The more notable Twitter stars of the Filipino online community registered their disgust over Comelec's decision and insinuated that some evil plan was afoot. I have a tendency to weave my own conspiracy theories and if I could kick myself in the head everytime I write about it, I'd be brain dead right now.
Anyway, it seems Jim Paredes' followers on Twitter were the most active with mentions of jimparedes chirping every second after the news broke out. One of Jim Paredes' responses got twitter love and got retwitted.

Now, here's the thing that confounds me. Does being a Ramon Magsaysay awardee for governance automatically mean that you are IN FACT not a cheat? Moreover, I am pretty sure that the Comelec stated that Governor Padaca was not removed from office because of cheating. Here's the bit of information that Jim must have overlooked from GMANEW dot TV:
Comelec Commissioner Nicodemo Ferrer, who presides the Second Division, said that what happened in Isabela in 2007 doesn't necessarily constitute cheating. He said the poll body just "appreciated" several protested ballots.
With the final appreciation of the ballots, the poll body said that the true tally of votes should be 199,435 for Dy and 198,384 for Padaca, or a winning margin of 1,051 in favor of the former.
