When Lourd De Veyra came up with "Shut up little sister", I thought that it was a sure sign that Noynoy's popularity was definitely beginning to wane and would continue to wane because of his sister's sing-song prattle.

But I was wrong for thinking that there couldn't possibly be people in Noynoy's campaign that will certainly do him more damage than Kris Aquino or Boy Abunda combined... Meet the merry company of jack-asses called the Yellow Troll Horde.

Yes. They exist.  I don't know if they've made it their life's mission to seek out and pester bloggers who write anything that is even just slightly critical about Noynoy Aquino.

If I didn't have anything personal against Noynoy Aquino when I started writing things that were critical of his candidacy, I am now firmly and solidly convinced that the biggest danger to the Philippines right now is a Noynoy Aquino Presidency.

Noynoy Aquino himself has quite a few problems, not the least of which is a lack of a proven capacity to lead and also the capacity of the people around him to work him like a puppet.

His platform, if you can call it a platform, was not a product of his personal vision and overarching direction.  Risa Hontiveros, one of his senatorial candidates, explained that it was a product of an ongoing consultation.  Noynoy's camp, Hontiveros explained, would receive inputs during "townhall meetings" and these were passed on to a committee which was tasked to weave this into a policy of sorts.

Did Noynoy have a personal hand in sifting through, analyzing, and sythesizing the inputs?  Beats me and I don't think I'd know for sure.

You see, there's really no basis for saying whether Noynoy actually has anything personal to do with the thing that has been presented in what is called his platform.  By personal, what I am referring to is a personal history of working for one cause or another that was stated in his platform.  It is arguable at best that he actually did anything in his long past as congressman or his short stint as senator to act out in deeds what he professes to believe in his heart.

Rom Sedona actually wrote a piece about Noynoy's platform and I urge the Yellow Troll Horde to read her entry "What platform?"

And if any of you guys reading this is willing to free their minds, here's what a platform ought to resemble.  Read Ben Kritz's platform here.

Anyway, it is often easy to pick out who is a hardcore member of the Yellow Troll Horde and who is not.  They usually have just one script or routine, which I think they pick from a set of templates very much like call center workers -- yes, you are WORKERS not AGENTS, don't kid yourself.

The usual comment can be any of the following:

Noynoy is the lesser evil. If you thought about it, this actually says that Noynoy is evil -- only lesser.  This also falsely suggests that there is no other choice but the lesser evil.  It signifies that one has resigned their fate to a choice between truly evil, evil, and less evil.  But of course, that doesn't mean that less evil also means more good.

But don't let me belabor this point further, evil is evil even when it is lesser and moreover, there is always a better choice -- ONLY IF YOU ARE WILLING TO CREATE THAT BETTER CHOICE.  When the choices shown to you do not suit you, it is your duty to demand for something better than the options shown to you.

Noynoy is the best choice.  Whenever I encounter such a claim, I usually ask, "Why is he the best choice?"  Usually, most members of the Yellow Troll Horde fails to give an answer that doesn't have to do with "purity of heart", "hope", "belief", "faith", and other such words.

You were paid to say these things about Noynoy.  I've been accused of this before and it really bores the hell out of me.  One commenter even claimed that a little bird told him something that I apparently discussed in a restaurant somewhere.  Really?

But anyway, I think I may have made a mistake of thinking that the members of the Yellow Troll Horde that comments on this blog are paid to do so.  No idiot, not even Ignoy, would pay people like them to argue as badly as they do and worse, do their Cult Lord a disservice by associating their moronic blathering with the Yellow One.
